Thomas Richardson, HIP, AHIP, has been a resident of Los Angeles since 1975, having been born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Thom has been an insurance professional since 2005, previously providing life, homeowners, and automobile insurance with Farmers.  Thom has also been a Stock Broker providing variable annuities, stocks & bonds and other investment products.  He now focuses entirely on Medicare and Health Insurance as well as all personal lines of coverage.  He holds both the AHIP & HIP certifications and is also Certified by Covered California, CoveredCA.com authorizing him to offer health insurance coverage under the PP-ACA, (Patient Protection-Affordable Care Act) also known as Obama-Care.  Thom is also an experienced Broker of Medicare Advantage & Medicare Supplement plans, Long Term Care and fixed annuities.  Thom is a CASA working with children in the Foster Care system.  One of Thom’s hobbies is as a certified umpire for high school baseball games.

Advocate for Children

Thom is also a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).

CASA volunteers make a difference in the lives of foster children by ensuring they receive the support and help they deserve. CASA’s are trained and then appointed by the Superior Court to advocate on behalf of a child in the foster care system in both the courtroom and the community.
